re: Cities and secret topics
Aug. 2nd, 2022 08:52 amA chilly, rainy, stormy couple of days, which makes for some wormy walks to work, but is otherwise quite nice, since the horrific over-air conditioning of society means I can't even enjoy the few hot days we get properly, anyway! It's gotten to the point where salespeople are commenting on how they can actually feel the temperature dropping as they cross the showroom to this frigid fucking half of the building, it's so goddamn miserable, and still getting worse. I used to be able to turn the space heater off or slightly lower than max occasionally throughout the day and didn't have to constantly wear a sweater, gosh those were the days.
Mom is off to Edmonton to get a biopsy today, so fingers crossed.
1. Which city would you love to visit?
Pretty much any that aren't this one! This is probably a more interesting question for people who actually travel regularly! Looking forward to Stratford again, though. When I was a kid, I did entertain a lot of fantasies of running away to Buenos Aires?
2. Are there some topics that you aren’t very open about?
Oh, plenty! I know I've been maintaining a pretty public-facing journal for a little while now, but I don't get much into things like inner personal life stuff in general. I try sometimes, but eeeeeeeh. I don't think I would in a private journal, either, honestly, that shit makes me mad uncomfortable, even just to myself. Probably not very healthy, but hey!
Here's a nice piece about a guy who jumped into the tiger pen at a zoo. The dream.
