May. 6th, 2025 09:45 amIt's so cold! I'm so cold!! And achy, and bleeding, and tired, but! It is Tuesday! And that means tonight I get to sleep the sleep of the just. I've already turned off my alarms, I can't wait to stay up late tonight without that looming sense of dread that otherwise comes with the hours ticking by, each one making the next day at work that much harder. No more!!!
The frigid rain earlier in the week has at least made some of the grass start turning a bit green, which has done a lot to lessen the general sense of springtime dreariness clinging to all those newly-revealed landscapes. Once the trees start blooming, it'll be like night and day.
Ten more hours of pretending to work, I can do this!!!!
15. How Careful Are You in the Sun?
Not... very. I'll slather on sunscreen and pop on a hat if it's real hot/sunny out and I'm going to be really baking on the deck with a book or something, beyond that I don't really bother. Which isn't good, I know, but I don't burn easily and I like to get enough of a tan to keep the pastiness at bay through the long winter months, so hopefully I don't end up all leathery in my forties! GOD I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TO BE A CONCERN AGAIN, I'M SO TIRED OF BEING COLD.
